JP’s program is a great way to implement some healthier habits and kickstart a new way of thinking about food as fuel to help you feel better…because you finally recognize that those coffees or lattes in the morning aren’t doing you any favors! I am so glad that I did this winter detox! It was the perfect way to get back on track after the holidays. I loved how easy it was to follow the meal plan provided and all of the recipes were delicious! The food we could eat was so tasty that I never felt deprived which is what helped me get through the detox.
I learned that I can really stick to eating healthy all the time by just managing my time and being prepared. Knowing what I was making and having the groceries on hand made a huge difference. The Winter Wellness Detox was like a complete system reboot for my body and mind. Jenn provided me with everything I needed to be successful and the results were awesome. During the 7 day detox phase, I literally went the entire time without having one headache, one stomachache, basically any ailment of any kind. My digestive system felt clean and fueled. And with Jenn’s hearty recipes, I never felt deprived or weak – in fact I actually felt energized. I never once had the 3pm crash that would normally have led me to consume sugar, caffeine, or both.
I would get home from a 10 hour day at work, have enough energy to make dinner, feed the kids, bathe them, put them to bed, pack lunches, do dishes, make bottles, etc. – all without feeling the usual overwhelming exhaustion I typically felt before the detox. Whenever I felt like I wanted to revert back to bad habits, Jenn was there with email support and online forum postings, and she was always available to answer all questions I had about modifications to recipes, etc.
By the end of the program, my taste buds had even “reset” – a ripe, juicy orange tasted unbelievably amazing and invoked the same reaction to my senses that a piece of decadent chocolate would have before the program. In the post-detox phase, with Jenn’s guidance, I was able to identify that both dairy and sugar can be sources of inflammation for me. I now feel equipped with the knowledge (and yummy recipes) to make clean eating a priority in my life.

Let’s face it…almost no one goes through the holiday season without destroying their diet and gaining a few elbees (pounds). I am certainly no exception. It was a little depressing to see the scale inch back up after I had done so well during the year and reached my target weight and fitness level. I had gained 5 lbs in just over a month! And there was no end to my unhealthy eating in sight! Fortunately, a savior showed up in my inbox inviting me to participate in JP’s Winter Wellness Detox program. Best decision ever to sign up for this bad boy!
The program was set up in an easy to follow 3 phase approach. Pre-detox where we started to eliminate toxic and unhealthy foods from our diets. Detox, where we really cleaned up our eating. And a transition phase where we slowly started reintroducing foods that were not part of the detox phase to learn about what reactions we may have to certain foods.
Throughout the program, JP had us follow healthy and delicious recipes from her recipe guide. I am no chef by any means, but her recipes were simple to follow and had me feeling like a culinary genius every time I prepared one of her meals. There were times during the program where I felt like indulging in non health coach approved foods, but the daily emails and online community forum kept me motivated and on track.
Before I knew it, day 15 of the program had arrived and I decided to step on the scale. The results were amazing! I lost the 5 pounds I had gained over the holidays. I felt more energized. I was exercising more. I felt like me again! All this in two weeks! This is the second time I have enrolled in one of JP’s health coaching programs, and once again, I find myself in a much better place with my health. Not only do I recommend signing up for one of her programs, it is a must! I guarantee that you will be writing a review like this after completing one of her programs. I am so thankful for everything she has done to help me with my health and wellness. I am in the best shape of my life, and I couldn’t have done it without her.

This detox was just what the doctors DIDN’T order. All kinds of blood test for Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, celiac, Fibromyalgia, neuropathy, all came back negative!!! But why was I feeling so bad? 8-9 Migraines a month, I had to do something, so I decided to check your detox program. The doctor had prescribed for me Cymbalta. Ugh. I just didn’t want to take any more meds, they made me nauseous and drugged.
Needless to say, or you wouldn’t be reading this long paragraph, the detox had a 100% change in my health. I haven’t had a headache in 3 weeks! I haven’t taken my 5 capsules of expensive bone and joint supplement in 3 weeks! I usually wake up early because my cervical vertebrae are starting to cause a lot of neck pain so I would wake up earlier than I needed or wanted to. I have been sleeping better and longer since the detox! I know that the gluten was my biggest culprit and perhaps the caffeine too. I haven’t had any of those foods since.
A detox program should be the protocol for every doctor before they put patients on dangerous drugs. This program was so fantastic, I loved the educational aspect of the program, explaining how the foods we eat are beneficial or harmful to our bodies. The recipes were fantastic and the daily emails I particularly liked. It really kept me motivated. I would certainly recommend JP’s detox to everyone.

This was an eye opening experience. I’ve never really dieted, detoxed, etc with a specific program. This was easy to follow and also easy to understand why I was making certain food choices. I loved trying new recipes using foods that I had not previously cooked with. I was most surprised about how much I was able to learn and observe about myself. I definitely feel like I should limit caffeine going forward. Before the detox I was already going dairy free and I will keep that up. I learned that I really react to grains & gluten. I feel my skin get itchy and dry feeling.

I will always love food, but will be more careful to REALLY be aware of the carbs I consume and avoid all processed foods that I can. Sugar was a problem to let go of! Mentally, I feel healthier and that I am being kinder to my body. At my age I want to maintain my good health – grand babies need me!!

Jennifer’s detox is amazing! Not only did I lose weight, I feel so much better. I lost 5 pounds, which is awesome because I felt like I was constantly eating. I don’t get that 3 pm slump at work, I haven’t felt bloated in weeks, and I was never hungry. The recipes are delicious and easy to make.
I learned that I can say no to bad foods at work. Our office is full of junk, and I learned I do have the self control to resist it! Jennifer’s Winter Wellness Detox is SO worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It is a little intimidating at first, for someone like me who has never done anything like this, but it is so doable. If you plan and prep like she suggests, and read all your program materials, you will do awesome. The neatest thing about this detox to me was that it wasn’t designed to deprive. It was designed to clean out your pantries, and your bodies, of the things that could be draining us of energy and health. You can eat as much as you want, and the things you get to eat are all good things! Lean meats, veggies, fruits, even grains if you choose. There are a ton of delicious recipes, and I was introduced to FABULOUS meals that I probably never would have thought of otherwise. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone!

Stage 1: Learn. I learned so much from JP in our initial meetings. She is extremely knowledgeable on nutrition and healthy eating. Prior to enlisting JP’s health coaching services, I had lost 20 lbs mostly through exercise, but I reached a plateau and could not lose anymore fat. 80% diet, 20% exercise. She drove that home clearly and introduced to me to ways to clean up my eating which included a regimen of green juices and smoothies along with healthy snacks.
Stage 2: Act. Once I took action on JP’s teachings of healthy eating, I really started to see the results. The pounds that would not come off started to melt away. During this stage of my journey, I had to redo my wardrobe since my clothes no longer would stay on my waist!
Stage 3: Live. JP’s teachings are now a way of life for me. Healthy eating is a lifelong journey and JP helped me get to this realization. I permanently changed the way I approach eating and it’s just part of what defines me now. The continuation of JP’s teachings after completing her program resulted in the second time I had to redo my wardrobe. Total weight loss to date: 35 lbs. And feeling great!
Stage 4: Love. What’s not to love? JP’s approach to health coaching is to treat every client like her only one. The special VIP attention JP gives to clients really goes a long way. Stage 5: Spreading the Word. After going through such a transformation, I’ve made a conscious effort to share my story with those around me whether it be a co-worker, friend, or relative. I recently heard amazing news from a co-worker that was inspired by my story. After telling him how I had lost 35 lbs., he started himself on a green juice and smoothie diet and started to see results very quickly. Before he knew it, he was 25 days into it and had lost 20 lbs! His skin had also cleared up and he just felt great about himself. Hearing this made me smile so much and made me realize that sharing our health stories is so important. For the rest of my life, I will be telling the story of going through JP’s program and how it changed my life with the hope of inspiring others to take control of their health. I use to justified my bad eating habits by telling myself “oh I’ll just run it off” but now I know that’s not true! My body felt amazing during detox especially on my runs.
