You have made a stellar smoothie when it is so thick, a spoon is required to eat it!
Of course, that is my opinion. But this is my blog, so clearly most everything here recipe related is my opinion.
This peanut butter berry smoothie delivers both in flavor and thickness. Grab a spoon.
1 banana, peeled, sliced, frozen
1 c mixed berries, frozen (I used strawberries and blueberries.)
1 c ice
1 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 c pineapple juice
1 heaping T peanut butter
1/4 c dried unsweetened coconut flakes
1 t ground flax seeds
1 t chia seeds
1 t greens powder such as Amazing Grass Green Superfood
Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender or Vitamix. Blend until smooth!
Don’t let my clever point-of-view photography fool you. That there is a 12 ounce sized glass. This recipe makes 2 of them babies.
